Increasingly Biomass materials are used for power and heating requirements and in the same way fly ash is produced for transfer and storage before out-loading to road vehicles. Almost all types of Biomass produce their own ash characterization. These differences need to be taken into the system design particularly if lime rich ashes are produced as the waste where it is added for flue gas improvement.

The Ashveyor® and Denseveyor® series are used in the same way as for coal ash with particular attention to conveying air quality to satisfy the special requirements of lime rich fly ash.

Interesting applications have been performed for garbage ash in the UK for London Waste, for a power station in North London and Chicken waste ash at Fibrothetford in Norfolk, UK. In addition there are several installations of wood ash and paper ash in the USA as well as various other Biomass materials.

As with all power station requirements, extreme operation reliability is required when handling hot and abrasive materials 24 hours per day.
