Many of our customers arrange for us to
carry out conveying tests in
our dedicated
test facility. These tests are performed
for a variety of reasons.
- The material is new - either a new
product of new grade of an
existing material
- and little is known of how it will
handle.
- The customer has had a bad experience previously with another
vendor, but is
interested in Macawber's technology.
- The conveying rate and air consumption
must be verified prior
to purchase of
a system. This can also be a precursor
to providing performance guaranteed.
- The customer needs to establish the
level of product
degradation or damage
prior to purchase. Customers will often
take away samples for analysis in their
own laboratory to make
sure the degradation
is within acceptable terms.
Although testing is time consuming and some expense is involved, it
is a prudent step to take prior to purchase.
