Chemicals

The chemicals processing industry is large and diverse and includes materials that are corrosive or caustic such as boric acid and cupric hydroxide, and the risk of a spill or dust creation could be hazardous. We offer completely contained transfer systems including special design considerations for harsh, hazardous, and explosive environments with the capability to meet UL, Atex, and CSA standards.

Fragile materials can be conveyed with minimal degradation. Furthermore, some materials such as titanium dioxide are exceedingly difficult to handle because of their high cohesiveness. We have developed techniques to handle these difficult materials.

Our Dome Valve®, with a wide spectrum of specifications available, is well suited for chemical applications with configurations that can be costumed to ensure chemical compatibility.
