Macawber has provided several 12” 316 stainless steel Dome Valves® to be placed on the outlets of de-watering tanks. The Dome Valves® were chosen for their extreme ability to retain an airtight seal as well as overall reliability in robust and special applications. The customer’s process will require the Dome Valves® to remain shut for hours at a time while the de-watering tanks are under their process. Once finished, the water is drained out of the tanks, and the Dome Valves® are opened, draining the granular matte and slag materials.
